We
are very proud of the opportunities we can offer Albertas
developing athletes. Were helping to make dreams come
true. And if youve participated in any one of these
provincial or national competitions, you know the spirit of
the Games lives with you long after the closing ceremonies
whether youre participating, volunteering, or
spectating.
Throughout these pages, you'll discover all the excitement and
some of the regulations of the Games we're involved

Alberta Winter Games
The only thing cold about these games is the temperature outside.
The next Alberta Winter Games will be held in the Lakeland Region (Bonnyville / Cold Lake) Feb 4 -7, 2010.

Alberta 55 Plus Games
These games offer something to get everyone involved.
The next Alberta 55 Plus Winter Games will be held in St. Albert, February 24 -27, 2011 and the next Alberta 55 Plus Summer Games will be held in Fairview, July 2011 .

The Arctic Winter Games are an international sport festival
bringing together athletes from the northern region of Alberta,
Northwest Territories, Nunavut, Yukon, Northern Quebec, Alaska,
Greenland, Russia and Scandinavia.
The 2010 Arctic Winter Games will be held in
Grande Prairie, Alberta, March 6 - 13.

The 2011 Canada Winter Games will be held
in Halifax, Nova Scotia, February 11 - 27, 2011. |

The 2009 Canada Summer Games were held
in Prince Edward Island, August 15 - 29. |

Western Canada Summer Games
The four western provinces and the three territories get
together every four years for 10 days of friendly
competition.
The 2011 Western Canada Summer Games will be held in
Kamloops, B.C.
