Updated on January 30, 2010:
As of January 30, the cross country ski trails are rated as excellent. Most of the Spring Creek Trails were packed and track set on January 28, and on January 29, Spruce Coulee Trails were packed but not trackset, Elkwater Campground and Old Baldy were packed and trackset, and the Shoreline Trail was packed with some trackset locations where there was enough snow.
All hiking trails are snow covered with some slippery sections and heavy drifting in some areas. As well, watch for natural hazards such as fallen trees or branches on the trails.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable time on the Park trails, always travel in a group, pack
extra food and water, bring clothing for all weather conditions, and make noise to let the wildlife know you’re in the area. Please notify Park Staff of any trail hazards or unique wildlife that you observe.
Help us “Leave No Trace” in the Park by staying on the trail and carrying your garbage out with you. Thank you.
