Updated on September 22, 2009:
As of September 22, all hiking trails are dry and in good fall condition. Extremely dry conditions have created a very high fire hazard. Please ensure that all cigarettes and matches are fully extinguished, and that you do not park in grassy areas. As well, watch for natural hazards such as fallen trees or branches on the trails.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable time on the Park trails, always travel in a group, pack extra food and water, bring clothing for all weather conditions, and make noise to let the wildlife know you’re in the area. Please notify Park Staff of any trail hazards or unique wildlife that you observe.
Help us “Leave No Trace” in the Park by staying on the trail and carrying your garbage out with you. Thank you.
