*NEW* CHANGES IN GROUP CAMP RESERVATIONS FOR 2012
- Bookings for the Group Camp Site will now be accepted with VISA and MasterCard, by phone and online effective: 9:00 a.m. Monday, February 13, 2012.
Visitor Centre Hours:
- Christmas and New Year’s Season:
- Open: 9:00 – 4:00 weekdays until Thursday, December 22.
- Closed: Friday, December 23, 2011 until Monday January 2, 2012, inclusive.
- Re-Opening: 9:00 – 4:00 Tuesday, January 3.
- Closed: Family Day, Monday February 20, 2012.
Facilities Open Monday - Friday:
- Park Visitor Centre, 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., with gift shop. FREE admission until April 2012. Closed weekends and holidays.
Facilities Open Daily
- Campground with 124 sites (59 with power) and outdoor vault toilets. No winter water service. Self-registration at the kiosk by campground entrance. Firewood $8 per bundle, at the shed by campground entrance.
- Day-Use Area, five self-guiding interpretive trails and two outdoor fossil displays, weather and road conditions permitting.
2012 Campsite Reservations:
- *NEW* Group-Use Campsite reservations for the entire season will start at 9:00 a.m. Monday, February 13.
- Individual campsite reservations will start at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21. Bookings can be made up to 90 days in advance of arrival.
- Reserve these two camping services online at Reserve.AlbertaParks.ca OR call the Alberta Parks Reservation Centre at 1-877-537-2757. Visa/MasterCard.
- Comfort Camping reservations start at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21. In Alberta, call toll free 310-0000, then 403-378-4344. Outside Alberta: 403-378-4344, toll charges apply. Visa/MasterCard.
2012 Interpretive Program Reservations:
- Interpretive bus tours, hikes and indoor program ticket reservations begin at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 21.
