Cross-country Skiing
Fish Creek Provincial Park offers cross-country opportunities during the winter season. Generally, the most consistent snow conditions are in the west end, where there are trails suitable for the novice and more experienced skier. The cross-country ski trails are not groomed and are available during park hours. Accessibility will depend on the snow cover and winter temperatures. There is no cross-country ski rental concession in the park.

Snowmobiles
Snowmobiles are not permitted in the park.

Snowshoeing
Snowshoeing can be done anywhere in the park, but generally the most consistent snow conditions are in the west end. Accessibility will depend on winter temperature and on snow cover.

Tobogganing
Tobogganing is not encouraged in the park because of the natural hazards. Rocks and fallen logs can be found on trail edges and hillsides. These hazards can cause accidents.

Winter Camping
Fish Creek Provincial Park is a day-use only park. There are no campgrounds.

Walking/Hiking
The paved trails throughout the park are cleared during the winter for walking and hiking.
