THE RAPTOR EDU-KIT

The Raptor Edukit is a unique educational package that explores the life of Alberta's birds of prey.

The development of the Raptor Edu-Kit was made possible through a partnership between the Friends of Kananaskis Country and the Alberta Ecotrust Foundation with the support of Alberta Tourism, Parks & Recreation, Parks Division.

Using nine independent study files from the activity guide, students learn about raptor biology and ecology. The activity guide has been written for Junior High students, who can use resources included in the kit such as skulls, feathers, written materials, posters, and maps to explore the amazing lives of Alberta's 31 raptors.
