centres and businesses across Alberta, and beyond.
Explore Alberta Parks 2011 Edition,
9.875" by 12", 80 pages full-colour, maps with
relief shading, stunning photos, up-to-date information,
200,000 copies distributed throughout more than 500 selected
locations.
Explore Alberta Parks, the only
official and free guide will be read by
an estimated five hundred thousand visitors to Alberta parks.
200,000 copies of this souvenir guide are circulating, since
March 30th, 2011. Readers will refer to it regularly.

For more than 15 years, Alberta
Parks has published a magazine entitled Explore Kananaskis
Country, the Ghost Area and Fish Creek Provincial Park.
After long consideration, Alberta Parks has decided to develop
a suite of products to better meet the needs of park visitors.
This suite includes a new magazine called Explore Alberta
Parks (see above) and a Kananaskis Country fold-out
map called Explore Kananaskis Country.
The Explore Kananaskis Country fold-out map is
a large (25.25” by 37”) full-colour, a perfect
companion to Explore Alberta Parks, 50 000 copies
have been printed.
It features a large detailed map of Kananaskis Country on
one side and inset maps, campgrounds information and more,
on the other.

Annual Posters
Each year The Friends of Kananaskis Country organizes a photo contest
and prints a new set of wildlife and scenic posters. These collector
items are available at visitor centres for $10.50 each.

Bluerock

streams of the Sheep River and leads to the site of an old
sawmill camp. Such sites are not rare in these stream valleys.
