Trails
The park's 25 km of trails offer a variety of recreational experiences from hiking and biking to cross-country skiing. Please remember to Tread Lightly - that is, leave only footprints, take only photos.


Crossing a Bridge on the Beaver Ranch TrailSELF-GUIDED INTERPRETIVE TRAILS

Beaver Ranch Trail - 1.5 km loop
Explore the historic beaver ranching site, then cross the creek and hike along Graveyard Lake where you're sure to find a spot to view the surrounding wetland.

Blue Lake Trail - 3 km loop set between Blue and Cache Lakes
Pick up a trail guide at Blue Lake Adventure Lodge to learn about ice-blocks, beavers, birds and more. In winter, tracks are set for skiing. Connect from Jarvis Lake trails or start at the Lodge.

Kelley's Bathtub Trail - 1 km
Learn about the Park's natural history and relax on the viewing platform overlooking the lake.

Kettle Trail - 3.5 km
Discover a variety of forests along this self-guided tour; walk an esker and view a 'kettle' lake to experience the results of thousands of years of Alberta's geological past. The trailhead is located behind the Gregg Lake shower Building.

New Intrepretive Trail - 2.5 km loop
Beginning at Kelley's Bathtub. This trail is under construction, but open for hikers. Enjoy diverse plant and animal communities, and spectacular views. Watch for information on the 'name the trail' contest when starting out on this hike.

OTHER TRAILS
Watch for the Calypso Orchids Blooming on the Trail in May and June
Gregg Lake Trail - 4 km loop
Beginning at the boat launch or "fox den" loop Hike, bike or ski through rolling mixed forest; then loop back using the lakeside road. (In winter, the route leads through a scenic meadow to Cache Campground, extending the trail by 2 km.)

Jarvis Lake Trail - a 10 km loop
Beginning at Kelley's Bathtub parking area, hike, bike or ski through rolling hills, meadows, mixed wood forests and across meandering creeks.
