Volunteer Heroics
Updated Jan. 3, 2012
Unsung Heroes
Each year volunteers contribute almost 100 000 hours of their time to Alberta Parks and Protected Areas. They bring talent, enthusiasm and new ideas that enrich our program and help us accomplish our goals. Each and every volunteer is recognized in some way for his or her contribution.
Although all volunteers are heroes, each year a few individuals and organizations exceed expectations and inspire us all. Each year, we recognize these outstanding accomplishments with Outstanding Achievement Awards.
