Evidence-based research about active living, recreation and sport lead to effective policy development and decision making that benefits all Albertans. The Recreation and Physical Activity division coordinates and supports research and a variety of knowledge transfer and knowledge mobilization strategies.
Designed to support and inform decision making, research informs Alberta government analysis and decision-making; and enhances sector practices for numerous community and stakeholder partners.
