Regional Investment Opportunities

The 2011 Tourism Investment Forum was held on November 9th at the Shaw Conference Centre in Edmonton. It gave communities in Alberta the chance to showcase land-based tourism development opportunities like hotels, resorts, golf courses and RV campground and cabin developments to potential investors, developers and franchisors.

There were nine communities and two regional organizations represented at the 2011 Tourism Investment Forum, including the Canadian Badlands, the County of Paintearth, the Municipality of Crowsnest Pass, the City of Edmonton, the Grande Alberta Economic Region (GAER), the Alexis First Nation, Brazeau County, the Town of Grande Cache, the Town of Mayerthorpe, Woodlands County, and Yellowhead County.
