Surveys of business perceptions of tourism operators for coming and past seasons.

2010

The survey is a province-wide review of how well Alberta's tourism industry performed during the summer and early fall of 2010. The report reflects comments from a cross- section of the province's tourism industry, including hotel/motel properties, campground and RV parks, attractions and events and tour operators. It further provides a geographic representation of industry operators throughout the province. The report is based on responses received from 105 businesses. Survey participants are located in Alberta, Eastern Canada and the United States.

The survey was conducted in April 2010 to develop an outlook for Alberta's tourism industry during the late spring and summer months of 2010. The report is based on comments and observations gathered from 116 tourism owners/operators located throughout the province and group tour operators located in eastern Canada and the United States. The report provides an outlook for independent travellers, campgrounds and RV parks, group tours, attractions and events, and adventure vacations.

2009

The survey is a province-wide review of how well Alberta's tourism industry performed during the summer and early fall of 2009. The report reflects comments from a cross-section of the province's tourism industry, including hotel/motel properties, campground and RV parks, attractions and events and tour operators. It further provides a geographic representation of industry operators throughout the province. The report is based on responses received from 108 businesses. Survey participants are located in 42 Alberta communities, Eastern Canada, and the United States.

The report is based on comments and observations gathered from 111 tourism owners/operators located throughout the province and group tour operators located in eastern Canada and the United States. The report provides an outlook for independent travellers, campgrounds and RV parks, group tours, attractions and events, and adventure vacations.

2008

The survey is a province-wide review of how well Alberta's tourism industry performed during the summer and early fall of 2008. The report reflects comments from a cross-section of the province's tourism industry, including hotel/motel properties, campground and RV parks, attractions and events and tour operators. It further provides a geographic representation of industry operators throughout the province. The report is based on responses received from 88 businesses located in Alberta and other parts of Canada.

The survey was conducted in late April to early May 2008 to develop an outlook for Alberta's tourism industry during the late spring and summer months of 2008. The report is based on comments and observations gathered from 85 tourism owners/operators located throughout the province and group tour operators located in Alberta and eastern Canada. The report provides an outlook for independent travellers, campgrounds and RV parks, group tours, attractions and events, and adventure vacations.

2007

The survey is a province-wide review of how well Alberta's tourism industry performed during the summer and early fall of 2007. The report reflects comments from a cross-section of the province's tourism industry, including hotel/motel properties, campground and RV parks, attractions and events and tour operators. It further provides a geographic representation of industry operators throughout the province. The report is based on responses received from 93 businesses. Survey participants are located in 35 Alberta communities, Eastern Canada, and the United States.

The survey was conducted in April 2007 to develop an outlook for Alberta's tourism industry during the late spring and summer months of 2007. The report is based on comments and observations gathered from 92 tourism owners/operators located throughout the province and group tour operators located in eastern Canada and the United States. The report provides an outlook for independent travellers, campgrounds and RV parks, group tours, attractions and events, and adventure vacations.
